More Anti-Racism Books

I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown is a wonderful and charming book as well as an important book about how fragile white people can impact a Black woman’s experience in professional and personal spaces. Highly recommended.

Sister Outsider by Audre Lord: This is a classic of intersectional thought. Lord’s essays discuss being a Black gay woman and how it affected her journey through the world through her powerful lens. It’s a must-read.

White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People to Talk About Racism by Robin D’Angelo is a book for white people by a white woman who has made a career of anti-racism trainings and has observed the phenomenon of white fragility and studied it for many years.
